Parking & Riverwalk Access

Finding parking near the Alamo and Riverwalk can be challenging. Here are some options to help you plan your visit:
- Long Trips: Fourth Street Pay Station (400 Fourth St) – 30 cents/hr, 10-hr max. (0.2 miles from Alamo)
- Short Trips (<2 hrs): Metered Parking (205 Avenue E, Alamo, Broadway, Jefferson, E. Commerce) – $1.80/hr, 2-hr max. Free after 6 PM & Sundays.
- Other Good Options:
- Houston Garage – $10/day (10-min walk).
- Rivercenter Garage – $5/hr (A/C path).
- Elm St. Lot – $5 for 2 hrs.
- Free street parking ~¾ mile south of Alamo/Riverwalk on Presa/Martinez.
San Antonio can have petty crime so ensure valuables are not visible in your vehicle.
Go Rio Cruises
Boats run every 20 minutes. Tickets: $15.50 (adult), $9.50 (child), $12.50 (senior/military). 10am–10pm daily. Spanish and dinner cruises available. Wheelchair accessible.
